Summer
Schools are organized by the University of Crete and take place on both the
University campuses of Rethymnon and Heraklion. These short courses offer the opportunity to combine educational courses
with inspiring social activities, explore the Minoan and the modern Cretan
civilizations, discover the spectacular scenery of Crete and join local
cultural events.
UoC
Summer Schools provide students with an opportunity to experience quality education/research
training in a variety of disciplines: Ancient Greek History, Archaeology, Life
Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Education, Chemistry, Medicine, Computer
Sciences, Business and Social Sciences.
The University also organizes every year a short course on Modern Greek language for non-native speakers.
Summer Schools address different learning levels: undergraduate,
postgraduate, doctoral. These short courses are accredited, and most award
between 5-6 ECTS on completion.
